Ida Back to School Communication

Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians of Ida Students,
Welcome to the new school year! We're excited to have everyone back and look forward to a productive and enjoyable year ahead. The purpose of this message is to begin communication from the Ida School Principal as we head into the 2024-2025 school year. 

The following important details are helpful information for you to plan for your student's return to school in September. 

Important Details:

• First Day of School: September 4
• Teacher Placement Notification: Notification of teacher/classroom placements will be sent out via parent square on Aug 21 by 3pm. We are currently finalizing enrollment as a district. We know students are anxiously waiting to know who their teacher will be next year, and we are excited to share that with them!
• Meet the Teacher Night: Mark your calendars for Sept. 3 from 5:30-6:30 to meet your student's teacher. You can bring your supplies on this night, meet your student's teacher, and get a sneak preview of your classroom. The office will also be open for assistance. See the flyer attached
• Supplies: Attached is a supply list. They are also at Jerrol's and Fred Meyers. We will have necessary supplies for students at Ida to support all students who need them.
• Transportation Needs: If your student is planning to be bused, please make sure you have submitted routing slip via the transportation department for the school district. 
• School Meals: Ida will be able to provide free meals to all students again this year. We will also be continuing our Breakfast After the Bell for students. Check out the Ellensburg School District Website for the new interactive monthly menu!
• New Year - New Website: The district has updated their website which mean Ida will be working on their pages soon! Check out the district's new look!
