Principal's Message

Ida Families,

We are headed into the last 4 weeks of the 2025-26 School Year. We will finish state testing this week and begin our benchmark assessments for reading and math at all grade levels the week of May 26th. Ida students have seen significant improvement this year, and I can't wait to share those results with you in the near future.

In the meantime, we still have more learning to do - mixed in with a little bit of fun along the way! Thank you for partnering with us in education!

Go Mighty Mustangs!

Mrs. Burfeind

May is Bike Month: Ida Bike Bus!

May 27, Wednesday

You are invited to join the ride to school!
A Bike Bus is when a bike group rides a route to school while allowing more kids to join along the way.

Ida Nason Aronica Elementary has organized a one day assisted event to teach students the safest way to ride their bike to school. May 27th's ride is not a direct route to school, please see map below.

Permission to participate is required. Without a parent: 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.
With a parent: Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders.
Please click to open the form below, or click "permission slip" to print out. If you are having trouble accessing the form, contact Ida at 509-925-8162. Bicyclists (sorry, no scooters) with well-fitted helmets are invited to join at any of the "bus stops" (see approximate times).

A support van, a bus & volunteers will be on hand to assist along the way.
ESD and COE agree that the safest way & best example is for everybody involved to wear a helmet,
even parents and volunteers.

Volunteers Need: Contact Mrs. Burfeind if you are able to help out along the route.

If you need help with a helmet for a child, please contact Ida's Office at 509-925-8162
